Pamlico Community Health – Bayboro, NC (2012-2013)

•    Site plan for 8,500 square foot health care center, 40 parking spaces and stormwater control on a tight 1.5 acre site adjacent to the 100 year floodplain in Pamlico County.

•   Designed site to reduce costs focusing on removal of stormwater piping, balanced grading and utilizing existing driveway access points to adjacent Highway 55.

•    Stormwater designed as a constructed wetland to meet nitrogen removal requirements with existing seasonal high water table at the ground surface.

•    Deliverables included three (3) preliminary site layout options, Construction Drawings, Construction Administration and As-Built record set.

•    The Creative Arts Building is expected to be certified as the first LEED Platinum Higher-Education classroom/lab building in North Carolina.
